LyX 2.3.0 installation broke Acrobat
I have Windows 10, with a TeX Live 2018 distribution updated today. All worked perfectly before I installed LyX 2.3.0. Now, when I compile a document, no pdf is shown nor created, and, if I try to open a previously created pdf with Acrobat, I get "Fatal error: Acrobat failed to connect to the DDE server". Can anybody help me? Thanks, Carla
[ANNOUNCE] Windows Installer Update
Due to a packaging error, the version of LyX 2.3.0 installed by the '004' installer will not preview jpg or tiff files. An updated installer has therefore been uploaded. Users who want or need such previews can either install the new version or follow the instructions from this bug report: https://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/11186#comment:17 Thanks to everyone who worked to correct this problem.
