Looking at my virtual t directory there is a RAM.bin under subdirectories for each model. I think that's it. -- John. >
Re: [M100] REX# - RAM Images
Generally you use it to back up a real model t ram state, over the serial port very quickly. And you could later restore that image onto the same laptop or give it to a friend to restore on theirs. Yes you can use that RAM image with virtual t by copying it over its RAM image file that it keeps on disk. Also you could take a virtual t ram file and restore it onto a real laptop using tback. -- John. On Wed, Feb 22, 2023, 1:54 PM Joseph Colson III wrote: > John - I have been reading up on tback.exe. Re: [M100] REX# - RAM Images
John - I have been reading up on tback.exe. It would appear that you can backup a ram state on Virtual-T and load the backup onto a Model 100 ? How is this done ? Thanks for your hard work. And even without a REX, because you can use TBACK.EXE to save or load a RAM image. -- John.
Re: [M100] REX# - RAM Images
I don't have any handy but RAM images can be useful for saving configurations of multiple files especially with large ML programs that are difficult to load, like TMPC. And even without a REX, because you can use TBACK.EXE to save or load a RAM image. -- John.
[M100] REX# - RAM Images
Anyone have REX images they wish to share or can point me to a location where I can download them? This seems like a real easy way to share files. Joe
