Hi Phil

I user a high-end thunderbolt drive for my DropBox folder. If your drive
becomes disconnected, for any reason, DropBox pops up a window in the
chooser giving you the option to relink or quit.

It's the only way I know to get at that context menu. Of course, first route
the mouse to the dropbox icon, then hold down the option key and click the
mouse on your air/pro, or on an external mouse open the preferences menu
item in the drop down menu and under account, you can change the default
location of the dropbox folder. I'm not sure if you can successfully use an
external disc, but go ahead and experiment with some dummy files and see
what happens when you pull the plug.
under account, You can also use selective sync to limit the folders that
dropbox syncs onto your mac, if space is a concern. But, you'll need sighted
assistance to click the various folders that you want to sync and uncheck
those you don't want on your machine.

Useable PDF editor?

2014-08-30 Thread Christian Schöpplein
Hi,

does anyone know an useable PDF editor for Mac OS? I tried the Wondershare PDF
editor, but this app is not working very well with VoiceOver. Also I thought
that Nisus Writer Pro can be used to edit PDF files, but this app converts the
content to rtf first, which causes loss of some formating informations.

What I am looking for is an app that deals with PDF directly and does not
convert the content first.

Is there an app out there, that is useable for us?

Ciao and thanks for any hint,

  Christian

I haven't used google drive in over a year because of the lack of
accessibility. I heard it's better now. but all I use google drive and drop
box for now is the free storage. To keep things I have copies of, but just in
case. As for bitt torrent sync, like Sarah said, it just works! I have shared
my entire iTunes library with a group of people and we had no hickups. And I
am talking a tarabite and half of music and movies. No upload, no waiting for
downloads, just peer to peer, and what ever space you have on your internal, or

i’m sending out an s.o.s because I am at my wits end with this program, I

Re: am losing patients with Amadeus Pro regarding zooming and jump to time

2014-08-30 Thread Michael Marshall
hey again,
tryed what you said regarding the jump to time. i put 01:00’15 and still
nothing.
Is there another editor I can try for this?
nothing i do is working and quite frankly I have had enough.

It's much much easeir to hit the dash key. to zoom out. then you can move in
 bigger chunks of time.
As for jumpig to time remember that the seconds are goign to be usign the '
 simbol so

 01:00'15

 Take care.

 hey listers,
I am having a massive argument with Amadeus Pro regarding zooming out so i
can jump through a file in bigger increments. no matter what i do nothing
helps, I interact with the horizontal scrollbar, i set the slider to 100%
and nothing works. the jump to time feature does nothing, if i put in a time
using the right format and click the OK button it does not take me to that
 time.
i’m sending out an s.o.s because I am at my wits end with this program, I
really need this zooming feature to work.
 thanks

 Michael
