We're back!
Hello everybody Looks like we're back in busition. I've just had to explain the reason for the failure to a couple of clients, and I'm not about to do so on list. However, suffice it to say that it is now fixed, and we can resume discussions where we left ofc. Great to be back. How to 'slide to stop'
Hello, How do I activate an iPhone App control labeled as “slide to stop”? Double tap does not work. Turning off VoiceOver and sliding up, down, left, right with one finger or two fingers does not work either. How would “slide to stop” work for someone not using VoiceOver? the App in question is Runtastic pedometer. On IOS 6 I can use the task Switcher to stop the App. I can then restart the App and choose to delete the session and then start a new session. On IOS 8 I can still stop the App using the App switcher, but on restarting the App it carries on from where it left off. I have not yet found a way to reset the step count and miles to zero. Hopefully “slid to stop” would do that if I could only activate that control. Many thanks for any help. Can I change the name iTunes gives to my iPhone?
Hello, Is it possible to change the iPhone name which iTunes allocates when you first set up an iPhone? I ask as I have an iPhone 3GS and an iPhone 5S which have confusingly similar names. I would like to change the name allocated to one of them. Note that when I first connected the iPhone 5S to my iMac I asked it to restore the backup of my iPhone 3GS. Maybe that is why they have similar names! When I get a decent case for the 5S I will use that by default but will keep the 3GS as a backup phone. Many thanks. Re: How to 'slide to stop'
You should be able to double tap and hold on the slide to stop, then slide your finger to the right.
