Re: [Mac-access]: anything better than text edit out there?
I think that your initial question was in relation to text reading. There are certainly more word processing options in Pages but for actual reading of text and other text format documents I still prefer TextEdit unless somebody can tell me if it is now possible to do a read all command in a document in Pages. The last time I checked you were restricted there to an interaction of a page at a time. David Griffith On 21/01/2015 01:42, Michael Marshall wrote: thanks will do that, i doubt that it will be free. Re: [Mac-access]: anything better than text edit out there?
Hi, I use iText Express. It's a free app in the Mac app store. This is not to say that I don't use TextEdit at all. Because I purchased my MacBook Air just before the iWorks suite was hree for a new purchase, I would need to purchase Pages, which I did demo, but was not impressed at the time since I am a regular user of MS Office.
