Re: Adding The Date Added Column to The Songs Table In iTunes

2014-10-21 Thread Colin Matthews
HiDane or anyone else interested!
Ok having a play around myself because I also sort with other fields!
I noticed under Command+j those options to add fields like date added are no
longer there!
But when going through different buttons and just going through their options I
found that the button next to the scroll area which depending on what you’ve
set might say Songs or Albums or something!
But pressing on it you get sort options a main table to select Albums or Songs
and so on!
Selecting songs then next along are 2 buttons the second of which has a lot of
options including personal submenu and stats submenu!
And in that stats option is to sort by Date added!
And on another note if someone has noticed in Album view scroll area they have
a recently added table then a bit further over the Album grid and do not want
it!
Back under that sort button if you select Albums then after the 2 options to
sort Artist or albums there is a show recently added check box and then options
for how long ago those items have been there like 6months!
So just uncheck it and no more recents for Album view!
HTH Colin
I hope these directions are OK if not I’ll try to help anyone who might get
stuck!

Adding The Date Added Column to The Songs Table In iTunes

2014-10-20 Thread Dane Trethowan
H!

I’m using the latest iTunes and I like the new Interface on the whole though
its taking some getting used to when it comes to finding out where everything
is now.

One thing I can’t find is where one adds the “Date Added” column, I used to
sort my “Songs” and “Playlists” by this so if anyone has any ideas then they’d
be much appreciate.
