Re: Deleting a document

2011-11-15 Thread Esther
Hello Catherine,

If you want to delete a document by moving it to the Trash, highlight your
selection in Finder and then press Command+Delete. If it turns out that you
moved the wrong file to the trash, you can undo this with Command+Z. There's
also a Command+Shift+Z redo command.

As long as you have not emptied the Trash (with Shift+Command+Delete, or
Option+Shift+Command+Delete if you don't want to be prompted with the
confirmation dialog), you can navigate to the Trash and retrieve files by
copying them or moving them to another location. (I do this when an iPhone app
has been updated to an inaccessible version, and I want to get the old version
back after the device is synced, before it gets permanently deleted.) The
Trash is located at the end of the Dock, so I use Control+F3 followed by
Fn+Right arrow to move there.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther

I can't find anywhere where it tells me how to delete a document. I'm sure
it's very simple, but how do I do it?
