Re: Free texting app
Paula, You can use your eMail program for sending text messages. Every phone company has an address for receiving text messages from eMail, like Verizon's is 10-digit-phone-num...@vtext.com HTH. I downloaded it and can't get it to send text messages. Can anybody recommend a free texting app that does actually work. I'm looking for something that uses the net to send messages rather than charging me a minimal amount to send texts as I have unlimited calls and texts on my phone. It's just that typing the message is easier than sending them from my phone. Thanks for any help. RE: Free texting app
Hi Glenn Does this mean you have to know the phone company of the person you are sending the text to? Thanks for your help with this. Re: Free texting app
That is a shame, at least you should be able to text someone in the U.S. or perhaps elsewhere in the world. I don't know what companies are in your country, but you can Google it.
