I would guess that those dialogs are not giving you the correct information because you have a NEWER version of the OS than it's coded to recognize. Just a stab in the dark because I'm not a TrueCrypt user, but thought this might help. Well, I only recently got it (within the last month), and I grabbed what was available, ver. 7. I'll look again. My previous s/w worked with MacOS X ver. 10.4.11, but not with any higher OS version, and they it is no longer supported or licensed by them for use. sigh I would guess that those dialogs are not giving you the correct information because you have a NEWER version of the OS than it's coded to recognize.
