This is a defeat of sorts….if your Google.

Seems folks are indeed interested in securing privacy and not having Google 
track you're every thought.

Thanks to the MacGroup I switched to DuckDuck on all devices and feel much 
better than having Google track, store forever, and sell my info.

DuckDuckGo now a default search engine

Interestingly, Chrome 73 comes with a feature to change its default search 
engine to a to DuckDuckGo

 which is a more privacy-friendly option. Google acknowledges that it updated 
the available search engines based on “new usage statistics” from “recently 
collected data.” DuckDuckGo is the preferred search option in more than 60 
markets including the United States and the United Kingdom.
