E.T.

Thank you. This only increases the Mouse Cursor to 100% and appears as a black
figure with a White Background. I have Mojave in Dark Mode. How do I make the
cursor a solid White figure that reverses colour. Thank you.

Re: mohavi and voices question

2018-11-09 Thread jean parker
Hi All:

I think it is the typing voice and the attributes voice that I want to adjust.
When I looked in vo utilities, speech, voices then under customization, I only
found the setting for the voice for content. What am I I missing? By the way,
thanks for letting me know what they are called, that really helps.

all the pitch and speed settings are left alone.
it is extremely irritating.

Re: Mojave not staying on my preferred voice after update

2018-11-09 Thread 'E.T.' via MacVisionaries
Understood but I disagree somewhat. Everything is always a work in
progress. So we find workarounds while at the same time, we keep after
Apple.

One issue never hear anyone complain about is how much Voiceover
repeats elements. One example might be Facetime. When you open it you
will hear Facetime Facetime window. Sure, easy fix, just hit control.
But it should not be standard practice.

Re: Issue With Voice Over Resetting Voices on Mojave after System Updates.

I have experienced the same thing but have no fix for it. So Sorry. The Voice
part of the Voiceover utility has been awful since Mojave if not High Sierra.
The Greek voice still hasn’t been fixed although I must have reported more than
20 times. It’s killing me and my work. And I can’t upgrade my other mac to
High Sierra or Mojave because of this. Bad bad bad!

Issue With Voice Over Resetting Voices on Mojave after System Updates.

2018-11-09 Thread Debbie April Yuille
Hi All

Recently I upgraded my iMac 2015 to Mojave. At first, it was great but every
time I do a system update, Voice Over keeps reverting all of its voices such
as the Keyboard voice, the menu voice and it's default voice back to
Australian Karen. I have to go into the VO Utility and set them all back to
Alex which is my preferred voice.

Any assistance is really appreciated as this is starting to drive me crazy.

Thanks

Debbie
