So relieved the 'nonsense' is over. Suggest exploring the menu bar
to see if there are new shortcuts.

Second, when I open skype it goes to a preview window in which I have already

Thanks so much for everyone’s input as it is now working more or less. If I can

Is it possible to pair a HomePod with a stereo system?

2019-01-12 Thread 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries
Hi all,

My husband and I have some music that is on CD that we have not imported to my
iTunes library. Because of that, we still use our stereo system. Is there
anyway to pair the iPod with that system so that music that we play from CDs
could be played on an iPod?
Cheers,
Donna

Re: Frustrating issue with the Daniel voice, and how do I get rid of it?

2019-01-12 Thread dan d.

One thought, I chose the announce time each quarter hour using the daniel
voice. This was done in the configuration area where that time
choice is made, there was also a voice option there. This was to make it sound
distinct fromn the default voice so it was brought to my
attention in the default voice background chatter.

Perhaps in those notifications where daniel appears that voice choice was
chosen by mistake somehow. It might be worth rummagingaround in
notification settings where voice selection is made to see which voice is
selectived.

I have not but I had changed to using a 1Password online account and
stopped syncing to Dropbox when I upgraded to version 7. I have tech
support looking at the problems I am seeing on the Mac. 1Password works
fine, just some minor things which may be fixed with a fresh install.
Windows and iOS work fine.

Re: Adding an additional participant to a FaceTime Audio call already in progress?

Could you be more specific about why the button to add a participant doesn't

have multiple people lined up with whom to test it.

What I am wondering is if there is a way to add additional participants to

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
