I’d suggest super glue but that wont be good for the air pods pro.

I use a silicon strap, attached at one end via a carabiner to a zip on my
fleece or gilet pocket, with a single AirPod pro slotted into the hole at the

RE: airpods pro

2020-01-01 Thread Simon A Fogarty
Wow, that’s a hell of a loss if you don’t find it again.

I’m not sure about keeping it in your ear,
But I did get something for my second gen pods
Which is a silicon string type thing that each pod goes in to the end of and
it then goes around your neck so that if the pod comes out of your ear,
It’s still hanging around your neck, meaning you don’t lose it fully to the
ground…

The power beats pro have a similar ear insert

Any chance you can change the silicon insert to a larger size?

iCloudmusic library

2020-01-01 Thread Paul Hopewell
Hello,
I am running the latest Catalina on my iMac. I am trying to move my music to
iCloud Music library to improve sharing with my IOS devices. I have set up
iTunes Match and increased my iCloud storage to 50 GB. My music library on the
iMac is about 7GB.

The Music App seems to be stuck on updating iCloud Music Library. I left it
overnight but it was still updating iCloud music library the next day. Does
this work for others? Do I need to be more patient?

I also want to shared my music with my wife who is on a different Apple ID and
have thus set up home sharing for her to access my Apple ID for media sharing.
Will this still work when the iCloud Music Library is working?

Many thanks for your help and a happy New Year!

Paul Hopewell

Re: Happy Mac new year

2020-01-01 Thread 'Tim Kilburn' via MacVisionaries
i Gerry,

As one who has personally experienced wildfires, my heart goes out to you and
the people of Australia. We don't tend to get the +40 C or more temperatures,
but still have fires most summers and deal with smoke from those fires not so
close to us. No fires this time of year though, just snow and cold. Again,
best wishes.

Later...

Happy Series5 Apple Watch New User

2020-01-01 Thread Georges Zaynoun

Happy new 2020 and here are some questions from a beginner:
1) How to close apps on the watch?
2) How to uninstall unwanted apps that I synced with my iPhone?

More to come later.

Hey petrus,

Glad we’re not the only ones getting colder weather,

As to the smoke,
Haven’t seen it myself but I believe the glow and smokieness is noticeable

Especially in central otago where I have family staying.

As for Australian folks on the list,
I know of at least one and I take it that Jerry things are ok where you are?

With luck the Australian east coast places such as new south wales and Victoria
get given heavy rain for the next month.

Happy New year guys,
It is overcast with a light breeze, and the sun peeking through from time to
time.
Simon, you’re supposed to be getting the smoke from Australia in the next day
or two. If we have any folks on this list from Aussie I hope you’re safe.

Hey Tim,

Yeah well I’m wishing it was still the 31st,

I’m not sure what Petrus is getting at the other end of the country but here in
Dunedin it’s blowing a gale and on and off rain.

Hope your having a great one.

Happy New Year Simon. You get to be one of the first to ring it in. We still
have about 15 hours left of 2019.
