Looking for accessible HTML editor

2020-08-24 Thread 'Robert Cole' via MacVisionaries
Dear List, Is there a free accessible html editor?
As of now I rename the .html to .txt and open it with Text Edit.
But I would like to know if there’s a easy way to do it using a html editor on
the Mac.
Thanks,
Rob

Going crazy assigning commands to braille display.

2020-08-24 Thread Anders holmberg
Hi! I am a bit frustrated as I can't really understand how to assign shortcuts
and commands to my braille display buttons. I have a vario 340 which has three
button on the left side and three button on the right side. They are named D1
To d6. But I want to assign pan right to the D5 button. It doesn't work for
me. And I am quite impatient right now. So any help would be appreciated.

Re: Voiceover beta testers discussion group

2020-08-24 Thread Kliph Senior
Yes, we have about 6 or 7 Braille display users in the group.

Are you testing an apple beta? want to discuss bugs with other testers? Then
come join a friendly, helpful, laid back community where we can squash these
bugs together, and report them to apple. Subscribe here
public-beta-users+subscr...@groups.io
Because of the non disclosure agreement, I have to say if your not a beta
tester, please don’t join the group.

good afternoon, the list you are looking for is the public beta users
list. On that list we discussed in general issues we encounter while
testing for accessibility. Of course voiceover is at the heart of that
testing. Please note however that if you got something that really is
serious go to beta.apple.com and report it there
it has been my experience that the beta feedback form that is included
with each kind of beta software, is not very accessible.

Hi.

I hope people are testing the Braille displays with the new software as it’s
about time Braille for OS was improved.

Kawal.
