Re: Anyone have a password set for their watch?

2021-04-27 Thread Brad Snyder
Once you have set a password on your watch, you can make it so that when you
unlock your iPhone, your watch will also unlock.
This way, you never have to actually enter the passcode into the watch.
There are many advantages to having a passcode on your watch. The ability to
use your watch to unlock your iPhone while wearing a mask is just the latest

Amadeus Pro gliche

2021-04-27 Thread Phil Halton
Using the latest update, and this may have been happening all along as its been
a while since I’ve used the program, When I select some audio and use the
spacebar to hear the selection, Amadeus plays from the beginning of the file.
But, when I use the E key to preview the selection, it previews only the
selected audio. I checked tthe playback settings and its set to play selection
with spacebar.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Re: Unlocking phone with Apple Watch?

2021-04-27 Thread 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries
Well, I found the problem. After reading your message, I went back into
settings to make sure that unlock with Apple Watch was still turned on and it
wasn’t. Not sure how it happened, but thank you for telling me that it does
work so it occurred to me to go back in and check. Since reactivating it, I’ve
tried your suggestion and it works great.
Cheers,
Donna

Donna,
The other thing is, that your iPhone can unlock your watch. When the watch is
prompting for a password, just unlock your phone next to your watch and your
watch shit on lock too.

Just select “save as“ from the file menu and select the wave file format in

Re: Unlocking phone with Apple Watch?

2021-04-27 Thread Yolanda Thompson
So, once you have it setup in settings face id unlock with watch,
Cover your nose and mouth with your hand, then lift the phone. The
watch will vibrate, and state: "unlocked with watch" or something
close to that. I have done it, yes.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried to do this yet? I just did,. My phone

Curious what others' experiences are.

 Hello,

yes, Docu Scan Plus ist really the best solution. I like it very much.

What‘s also quite good is Exact Scan Pro. I‘m not sure whether you have it
in the US but it’s abailable in Germany on their web side. Vuescan is
another alternative. But last time I used it it didn‘t support layout
detection. Means it didn‘t recognized whether the page was upside down.

 All the best

Amadeus Pro--Changing file format

2021-04-27 Thread 'Janina Sajka' via MacVisionaries
Hi,

I have a multitrack recording in Amadeus Pro that's in it's native .amad
file format. I understand that choosing the Bounce option in the Sound
menu is supposed to mix that down to a two track stereo recording for
me. But, I'm having all kinds of confusion trying to change the file
format to .wav.

Any help very much appreciated. I'm trying to get a set of quick and
dirty recordings out the door for a Zoom Memorial Service coming up
soon.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Anyone have a password set for their watch?

2021-04-27 Thread Herbie Allen
The passcode is for simply unlocking the watch after you take it off and put it
back on. You might also use it when installing updates.

Anyone have a password set for their watch?

2021-04-27 Thread 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries
Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone uses a password for their watch, and if so, how does
it work? Do you have to enter the password every time you want to see what time
it is? I want to use the new feature in IOS 14.5 that allows you to unlock your
phone from your watch, but it requires a pass code on the watch.
Cheers,
Donna

Try going back to the message that contains the attachment, then open the
attachment, look for a Share button.
You should find several options for sharing the attachment.

See if the item you attempted to save is in this folder.

major bug has finally been squashed in latest mac update regarding selecting Wi-Fi network with VO in recovery

2021-04-27 Thread Michael Marshall
hey all,
Some months back, I reported to Apple Accessibility about a bug which has
always been present but random until recently.
using big sur, it was absolutely impossible using VoiceOver in recovery to
select a Wi-Fi network with the old VO MM command.
To my shock and delight, when I installed macOS Big Sur 11.3, the command is
now extremely reliable and also shows a text input menu which function I'm not
really sure of although I'm assuming language.
