This appears to be gone from the App Store I had purchased it along time ago
but just never saved it does anyone by chance have the application they would
share for this game? I really love it! Thank you so much if you can provide
some guidance on this. Dumb me for thinking it would always just be in the
store.

Re: iCloud Alias

2021-07-21 Thread Jonathan Cohn
So, are you saying that these checkboxes are machine/account independent? So
when person A logs into the Mac they can see alias 1,2 and 4 and when person b
logs into family Mac they can use alias 1,3, and 4?
I had always assumed these were global across all accounts. Of course it gets
even more complicated then with the new create a specific alias for a specific
web site functionality that Apple announced at WWDC.

Best wishes,

Jonathan Cohn

I have one email account as POP so when mail is deleted on my phone I still
have a copy on the Mac.

While there are various ways to copy the contents of individual mail items to a
text document, which can be stored anywhere you wish, actual mail items and the

one might desire. I have yet to find a format it doesn't handle.
One can play only the audio track for example.

Re: getting new mac, best way to migrate data apps etc

2021-07-21 Thread Brad Snyder
I don’t see how this would be any different from using a Time Machine backup.
You would still be using an update from an Intel-based Mac, to restore/setup a
M1 Mac.
No matter how you go about it, the 2 systems are completely different.
In my opinion this would be asking for trouble, but you are welcome to do
whatever you wish.

 Alia,

I know that using Migration assistant has worked for some people, but at
least a couple of us have ended up having to get replacement Macs because
of this issue. In addition to the migration breaking Voiceover, when I
went to erase everything and reinstall the OS, I was unable to do so. I
could erase the disk, but was not allowed to reinstall the OS, which
pretty much left me dead in the water. When I googled it, I read that
this is a known issue with the M1 Macs. So, even though not using
Migration Assistant is a royal pain, were I you, I wouldn’t chance it.
 Just my $.02,
 Donna

Separate Tracks on the Mac

2021-07-21 Thread Kerryann Ifill
Dear all:

I have an mpg movie file which played on pc, I can select tract 5 which is the
audiodescription.
Is there anyway to perform a similar process on the Mac? If so, please guide
me appropriately as I’m quite a dunce on audio stuff.

Regards
Kerryann Ifill
