Editing a playlist in music in iOS 16.4?

2023-04-09 Thread 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries
Hi all,

Has anyone tried to edit a playlist in music in iOS 16.4? The drag button is
still there, but there does not appear to be any way to move songs. There’s
also a down arrow, but when I tap it nothing happens. Anyone know how this is
supposed to be working in the current iOS?
Thanks,
Donna

Re: IOS: how to read TXT files in iCloud drive

2023-04-09 Thread 'Harry Bell' via MacVisionaries
if you double tap and hold on the text, file, you get a pop-up menu, including
the share option. You can then use that share sheet to open the text file in
perhaps voice dream writer if you want to read and edit it. It can then be
exported either as a text, file or as a M Microsoft word file.

IOS: how to read TXT files in iCloud drive

2023-04-09 Thread Paul Hopewell
Hello,
I need to share some TXT files between my iMac and my iPhone using iCloud
drive. I can edit these files on my iMac using TextEdit butt when I do a 1
finger double tap on a TXT file on iCloud drive the file is opened by Dolphin
EasyReader which is not ideal. I need to read the file line by line by 1
finger flip up and flip down. I suspect that I can associate a different App to
process a file on IOS by choosing the share option. I really need to set up an
appropriate App to process all TXT files on iCloud drive. My top priority is to
read the files on IOS and it would be good but not essential if I could edit
these files as well on IOS.
I would welcome any suggestions.
Many thanks … Paul Hopewell
