Re: Ipod Compatibility Question ...

2024-05-14 Thread Brad Snyder
Make sure the AirPods are fully charged .
Next, unlock your iPhone 15 Pro, and have it showing the Home screen.
Now, hold your AirPods near the iPhone, and open the case, with the AirPods in
the case.
An alert should appear on the iPhone screen, with instructions on how to pair
the AirPods with the iPhone.
Following these instructions should pair the AirPods with your iPhone.

HTH.

Re: Convert PDF to txt on iPhone or iPad?

2024-05-14 Thread Karen Lewellen

Donna,
Why not send the files to robobraille?
www.robobraille.org
via an email address,
conv...@robobraille.org
the pdf files can be converted to text in a matter of moments.
You also support a service providing this service in many formats and
language around the world...and its free.

Cheers,
Karen

Anyone have a recommendation for an app that will do this? I know ABBYY will,
but it seems kind of like overkill.

Re: Convert PDF to txt on iPhone or iPad?

2024-05-14 Thread Ian Robinson
Hi Donna,

Do you by any chance have Voice Dream Reader? If so, you may be able to use it
to export the text.

Open the pdf file in VDR, then go to the Document menu and choose “Export All
Text”
>From the Share Sheet, choose “Save to Files”.

How readable the text version is might depend on how the original version was
created, but it is worth a try.
