any tips for using apple tv with YoutubeTV and Voiceover?

2024-05-21 Thread sarai.bucciarelli
I broke down and am trying YoutubeTV. They have a free 10 day trial with $20
off first three months. Any documentation to point me to get it up and
running on Apple tv?

I got the app started but want to learn how to best find channels, favorite
them, and record shows.

Feel free to point me to documentation. I have 10 days to decide if I want
to keep it.

I mainly got it for the SEC baseball tournament. Lol.

Hi Brandon,

Open the VoiceOver Utility and select the Navigation category.
Then check that Mouse Pointer is set to "Ignores VoiceOver cursor”.

HTH.

Hi,
that happens occasionally. Try a restart of VoiceOver or your Mac.

voiceOver acting strangely with menus on sonoma

2024-05-21 Thread Brandon Olivares
I recently upgraded to Sonoma, and voiceOver is acting strangely with menus. I
can no longer navigate to a specific menu with a single letter. For instance,
in Safari I used to be able to press VO-M, then B to get to bookmarks. Now it
seems to drop down the first menu by default.

Also, sometimes in Safari it just exits out of the menu randomly. I have a
bookmark buried inside a subfolder and sometimes I can’t get to it before it
exits the menu entirely.

Is anyone else having this issue? I’m not super impressed with VoiceOver on
Sonoma.

Thanks,
Brandon
