  Yes. For some reason, they made more than a few changes to previous defaults. 
I’m not exactly sure why. Trying to find some settings has been like going on a 
scavenger hunt ….

In Monterey, and earlier versions of the OS, it can be found in System 
Preferences > General.
This setting is on by default, so you really shouldn’t need to change it.

An Option About Saving Changes That I Heard About?

Hi, Group.

I heard that there is a check box somewhere in System Setting. When this box
is checked, the user is prompted whether they want to save changes when they
close a file window, just like MSWindows. They have the option either to
save changes or do not save.

Could someone tell me where this check-box is, if there is any?
