Hello Marc, yes, the data is on a sinc server of Day One. The subscription price differs whether you include the Mac version as well as far as I remember. I use Day One for ruffly a year now and don’t remember all the details. It just works fine. To pay is highly appriciated in this case because I don’t want the developer to get money by selling data from customers. Hey Marc, save your money. I don't like Mac Journal for the same reasons and some more. I'm very happy with Day One. Syncing works great and it's easy to use.
