Hi Doqna,I highly recommend setting up the phone yourself. That's generally the way I've done it in the past and never had a problem. This was by far the worst experience I've had in getting a new phone set up and that could be because the transfer was taking so long and I had to leave the store. Yes, the longer battery life is a huge perk of the upgrade. I do find the mantis display to have the fewest bugs of the displays I have access to and that's probably because of the qwerty keyboard and it not using braille commands. Hi Gabe,

Thanks so much for sending such detailed feedback!  I have to say the better 
battery life is enticing.  I charge my 12 mini over night, and then usually 
again around 4-5 in the afternoon. As you can imagine, I’d be glad not to have 
to do that.

I don’t use braille screen input, so that wouldn’t be an issue for me.  I’ll be 
setting up the phone all on my own here at home, so don’t know if that’ll be 
better or worse than your experience. :)

The battery on the 14 pro is awesome! I can make it through the entire day on a single charge and often have 30% or so left over. I find the screen on the new phone to be very sensative. One of my biggest issues so far is that I use braille screen input all the time for texting and emailing and very often get a dot 2 when I don't want one. The workaround I've figured out for that is to place my fingers down one at a time until I have all that I want for that character then let go. Thanks.  I’m also experiencing degrading battery life on my 12 mini, which was 
my original impetus for upgrading.  Thanks for the heads-up about the 
additional weight.  It’s not a deal breaker, but I’m glad to know beforehand.

It's a nice phone. I like it. It is a lot heavier than my 12 Pro. camera bump 
is very large. The battery on my 12 Pro had degraded to about 83%, so I decided 
to go ahead and tratrade in the 12 Pro, and do the upgrade.   It's really a 
personal choice, rather to upgrade or not. If you're happy with your 12 mini, 
then you might want to just stick with it for a while longer.

experiencing every single bug that is present in iOS 16. My latest discovery is 
that this issue that I’m having with sorting playlist also seems to be a 
problem on the 12 minis. Basically, the sort button isn’t showing up. That’s 
just one of many many many things that I have experienced since the upgrade. I
