Re: Bluetooth Brail Display without Keyboard

2013-07-24 Thread erik burggraaf
I'm not sure but I think you have it backwards. :) There's a braille input
output model with display and keyboard, and there's a braille input model with
keyboard only.

It doesn't really make any sense not to have the input feature on any modern
display really. Although, having said that, a switch that locks the controls
would be nice for people who don't want braille input and no one has that as
far as I know.

Best,

Re: Bluetooth Brail Display without Keyboard

2013-07-24 Thread Scott Davert
Eric is correct about the Pen. I, too, would recommend the Brailliant
24, if you can find one. Also, if you wish to use a display and need
to unhide the virtual keyboard, press space with 1-4-6 and it will
toggle it on and off.

Scott

Hi Erik. The EuroBraille esys displays can have the input keys disabled or the
BrailleConnect displays have the input keys recessed so that they are below the
level of the
top plate of the chasis, which makes it difficult to inadvertently input
Braille. Hope this helps?
