Downloading from Bard site

2012-10-12 Thread N2KPV
Hello everyone,
I am a relative new mac user and I have been downloading digital books
from the Bard site to a thumb drive for my wife and I.
I do notice that it ws much easier to download to the mac ,than it was
from my old windows xp machine. However, I notice that whenever I go to
read a downloaded book on my NLS player , the book shows up along with a
book error message after each book.
Does anyone else expirience this problem ? Is there a setting that can
be changed in safari ?

Thanks in advance, Ben

Hi there
No, and I've downloaded many books from Bard. It sounds like you might want to
change thumb drives and see if that makes a difference. Alternatively you
might want to get one of those cartridge things from APH. That way it will go
inside the player.

Thanks, although It does the same on all my thumb drives. It is more of an
annoyance , whereas I have no trouble reading the books.
