Re: Getting Google apps to open in Chrome

2023-06-29 Thread Jonathan Cohn
The stop the maddens application is supposed to be able to have specific URL’s
go to specific browsers. I have yet to plunk down $10 to try it out. Perhaps
AppleVis has a review?

Best wishes,

Jonathan Cohn

Re: Getting Google apps to open in Chrome

2023-06-12 Thread 'Mary Ward' via MacVisionaries
Thanks, I had to sign out and then sign back into Google and that seemed to
have fixed the immediate problem. So it was not a Mac issue but a Google one.

Re: Getting Google apps to open in Chrome

2023-06-12 Thread 'Mary Ward' via MacVisionaries
Thanks for the tip. I had tried both these things and they did not work. I
must have done something wrong with installing Chrome, so maybe I have not
finished installing it yet. I opened Chrome and pasted the URL into the
address bar and it immediately opened Safari. I then tried to do it from the
context menu and Chrome was not an option there. So my problem must be with my
install of Chrome. Just because I can open it must not mean it is installed, I
guess.

Feeling really dumb, but I will just keep going.

Re: Getting Google apps to open in Chrome

This is easy.
Just copy the URL/link, and paste into the Google Chrome address bar.
Or, place focus on the URL/link, and open the Shortcut menu, and select Open
with > Google Chrome.

HTH.
