Re: Getting rid of DropBox

Did you even get to the preferences menu at all? Remember, you need to rout
your mouse to the Universal menu then move the mouse straight left. Then, when
you hear that the mouse is over the drop Box menu, click the mouse using
VO+shift+space. Now, arrow down to the preferences menu and then press return
until you hear, select preferences or something like that, pressing return
one time after another will toggle between select and deselect. One more
thing, after you've done this successfully once, you need to restart Voice OVer
before you can do it again.

Actually, I take an even easier approach. I just go to the Activity Monitor in

reinstalled Dropbox since I love Dropbox, and since I paid. The mouse approach

Good afternoon Daniel,
In order to remove the dropbox application, you will need to first stop the
running process, since Dropbox is a service that runs in the background.
To do this, navigate to the utilities folder from the finder by pressing
command+shift+u.
Next, navigate to the activity monitor application and open it.
In activity monitor, navigate to the processes table and start typing in
dropbox. This should highlight the dropbox process in the table.
Vo to the left to the toolbar and interact with the toolbar. Navigate to the

To do this, you'll need to go in to your status menu, and then, use

When you get to it, you need to press the return key until you hear select

Now, when I go ahead and do a cmd+o to open it, I get the message saying
that DropBox has no windows and I can't do anything to close the program.

I think that some info is escaping VO, so therefore this question here on
 this list.

Could be a general procedure that I am doing wrong here.

Hope to hear from someone who managed to delete the application.

 Thanks in advance.

 Daniel
