Hi Kim,
The removal method will depend on whether you have the clicktoflash plugin or
the clicktoflash extension installed. Note that you should not use the two
together. I've had better luck using the extension. Safari should be restarted
after uninstalling. I did a quick google to find the following uninstall
instructions.
