Moderator note -was- Re: How many installs do I get with a purchase of Windows 7?

2011-06-20 Thread Cara Quinn
Hi All;

This is a quick reminder to keep the Windows discussion related to its use on
the Mac. So rather than basic Windows questions themselves, if we could simply
keep the discussion here, related essentially to the Apple experience, that
would be great!

Thanks so much and do have a wonderful day!

Smiles,

Cara :)

 Hi listers,

I bought Windows 7 to use with VMWare Fusion. I'm thinking about
purchasing a new Mac, and would like to run Windows on it. Is there
anything special I need to do with regard to authorization (as in
Jaws)? I will only run Windows on my new Mac, so is there anything I
should do to uninstall windows from my old mac?

 Thanks in advance.

2011-06-20 Thread Les Kriegler
Actually, I'd like the answer to that question as I recently had to replace my
hard drive and as a result, lost my Windows 7 install. Since I wish to run
Windows7 on our Mac, that question is right on point for me, assuming it's ever
answered.
