Re: Numbers Has Gone Backwards with VoiceOVer

2016-02-17 Thread Phil Halton
No other suggestions I'm afraid Brian. As I said, I use this app daily and I
have no problems whatsoever. The only thing Apple screwed up in the last
version was that now, when arrowing up and down through a table, voiceover
reads the row number in addition to the cell number which gets awfully verbose.
But, I've learned to live with it. Good luck it sounds like some kind of
corrupted in stall.

2016-02-16 Thread Brian Fischler
Hey Phil,

According to my app store there are no updates, so I believe I am running the
most recent version. Just checked and in deed it is 3.6.1, so same as you, but
I am having several issues as I mentioned reminding me of how numbers performed
a few years ago. I am going to try to uninstall and reinstall it to see if that
fixes the bugs. Any other suggestions if that fails? Thanks,

2016-02-16 Thread Phil Halton
Brian, I'm using the latest version of numbers on Yosemite and I have
absolutely no problems with it whatsoever. There was a change where in era
going through the table video now reads the lines or the row numbers which is
slightly annoying, but that's about it. Aside from that, everything works as
advertised. No big changes. My version I believe is 3.6.1 and I'm running
Yosemite.
I checked the app store for the latest update and didn't see anything for
numbers, so I assume that you're picking up a version from a while ago or
something. What version are you running and is it a recent update?

Numbers Has Gone Backwards with VoiceOVer

2016-02-16 Thread Brian Fischler
I am still running Yosemite and the last update to Numbers has made it once
again almost unusable with VO. I am constantly losing focus as I can be down 30
rows hit the down arrow and instead of going to row 31 I am kicked back to the
header cell. Additionally VO has stopped reading my columns as VO cuts out and
I have to toggle VO off and on five or six times to get it to work. Is anyone
else experiencing this, and if so any work arounds?
