Thanks Anders, I bought the QC 25's, the wired versions and they work great. I

2016-10-01 Thread Anders Holmberg
Hi!
Well i haven’t had any bigger problems with them.
It sometimes happens that it wont connect to a device but its often due to that
it can connect to more than one device at a time.
One thing i find frustrating is that it has a speech synthesizer built-in that
when i for example listen to something can began to talk when finding a new
device it has a connection to and connects to that device.
THe speech totally interupts the thing i listen to but does not pause it so its
a bit of a frustration.
I haven’t found any way to turn this off.

Re: Recommendations for noise canceling headphones

2016-09-29 Thread Kimberly
Phil,

The model I have is the quiet comfort 20 which is currently available from
Amazon for 249 dollars with free shipping for prime members. As I said, they
are pricey but worth it in my opinion.

I hope this is helpful.

Hi unders, I was looking at the 35's as well. I'm thinking more towards the
25's which are not wireless and seem to have less problems at least from the
reviews. How long have you had the quiet comfort 35's, and have you experienced
any malfunctioning? I'm wondering if the wireless feature is worth the extra
$50?. I think I may go for the wired 25's but I'll know more when I actually go
to Apple and look at them hands-on tomorrow. Sent from my IPhone

Re: Recommendations for noise canceling headphones

2016-09-29 Thread Phil Halton
Kimberly, thanks a lot. I've been looking at the Bose over ear headphones and
they're super pricey, and from what I hear not all that reliable. I'd like to
get the buds that you're talking about but there are so many models to choose
from. Could you please, please, look up the model number for those Bose earbuds
that you've been talking about. Thanks.

Re: Recommendations for noise canceling headphones

2016-09-29 Thread Kimber Gardner
Bose makes some truly excellent noise-cancelling headphones. The ones
I have (sorry, I forget the model) are in-the-ear earbuds, but I'm
sure any model would give you similar quality. The earbuds have a
small switch on the wire that allows you to "open" the earbud to sound
if necessary. So if like me you were using the earbuds in
noise-cancelling mode while on a plane, you could press this switch
and hear any announcements. Then press again and re-engage the
noise-cancelling.

Bose are pricy, but for my money they are worth every penny.

Re: Recommendations for noise canceling headphones

2016-09-29 Thread Cameron Strife
Hi. I am a terrible sleeper. everything wakes me up, and I mean
everything. Anyways, I found headphones to be too uncomfortable to
sleep with, but, it's a personal preference thing and maybe you'd be
fine.

I use earplugs instead and they do a pretty good job. I also use a
white noise machine and that really does help a lot! Earplugs are a
few dollars for many pairs and a decent white noise machine is around
twenty dollars on amazon etc.

Maybe give those things a try too...

Cameron.
