RE: Downloading MP3 Music from Amazon via Safari in El Capitan
Not hostel in the least. In fact your subject line illustrates perfectly what a question looks like seeking troubleshooting. My subject line sought a contact name. I also wrote my reply rather late, so I did not project emotion in any intentional way. I asked for a contact that others have shared previously. I referenced my frame of context, WACG, with pa positive side meaning I can connect Simon with people in NZ who are aware of how those rules may apply to his work situation. You illustrate here what troubleshooting requests consist of, and nothing in my first question included that information. Sorry if you felt intensity where none was presented. Kare On Thu, 18 Aug 2016, M. Taylor wrote: Karen, To answer your question, yes, I did read your original post. To be honest, your reply comes across as being a bit hostile. While we do enjoy discussing various aspects of technology, our primary purpose is to support each other in the use of Apple products. Consequently, it is not unreasonable for anyone to assume that, unless otherwise specified, when one describes an unresolved challenge, that one is referring to, at minimum, an Apple product, most likely being Mac OS. 2. While, sometimes, the members of this community take time to wade through all of the messages in order to obtain solutions to various problems, more often than not, we do so in order to help others resolve their challenges. When I first saw your message, I was in the middle of a project so could not give it the time I thought it deserved. However, I never forgot that you were unable to enjoy an MP3 file that you purchased. So, as a result, I resolved that at the first opportunity, assuming that a solution had not been discovered, I would attempt to reproduce your scenario as I understood it, to either confirm your results or determine a workaround. I think you would be quite surprised at the number of people in this community who attempted to reproduce your problem in hopes of discovering a solution. The fact that the original thread turned a bit harsh, is unfortunate and probably inhibited some from posting so as not to get into yet another proverbial firefight.
