I can stop this behaviour by setting the verbosity to low, but I’m wondering if

I’ve googled this, but haven’t found anything.

Re: Mac Mail on Big Sur

2020-11-30 Thread John Panarese
You can also uncheck the box in the view menu that says, use column layout.
I think this might be checked by default in Big Sur.

Re: Mac Mail on Big Sur

2020-11-30 Thread Brad Snyder
I am also experiencing this issue.
This seems to occur only on items that are not “unread” in the mailbox list.
I have gone to VoiceOver Utility > Verbosity > Speech, and have attempted to
make adjustments in the Custom Verbosity Table, but have not been successful in
modifying this behavior.

This may be something we just have to live with in Big Sur.

Hi all,

So I had to upgrade to Big Sur to try to solve an issue I was having with Xcode
and my iPhone (it didn’t help).

At any rate, I am now hearing too much informationabout the table in mail.
Every time I curser down to a new message, Voiceover announces “Column 1” prior
to reading the sender.

I can stop this behaviour by setting the verbosity to low, but I’m wondering if
there is a way to set this verbosity on a per app bases?

I’ve googled this, but haven’t found anything.

Thanks for any help.
Jeff
