Re: No Apple Watch update.
Well, let’s be realistic, Code Factory is a tiny company of what 6 or 10 people? I understand tight resources there more than Apple who has hundreds of thousands of employees, the most cash on hand of any company in history and no excuses in my mind for cutting corners. Steve wouldn’t have let some of this software out the door. Remember the maps snafu? What about the buggy IOS 8 that was so bad I went out and bought a Samsung phone instead of an iPhone on opening day. Although on that note, 9 is far far better bugs wise on day 1 than 8 was. What about that software release that lasted all of 2 hours when they bricked everyone’s phone who installed and made them not able to connect to a network. Tim Cook needs to get a handle on QA. I think he’s making ground but the #1 company in the world in terms of valuation aught to be able to do better in my mind. > On Sep 17, 2015, at 3:31 PM, Kawal Gucukogluwrote: > > Well at least they are not like Code Factory, what was it, come what may, > even though i found bugs they released the software didn't they. Re: No Apple Watch update.
They announced this on the business news yesterday. Wonder what kind of bug it was that was only found on release day. Stuff like this and other recent events makes me wonder about QA under Tim Cook. > On Sep 17, 2015, at 12:53 PM, Donna Goodinwrote: > > thanks for passing that along, Kawal. It does seem like a bug that major would have been discovered earlier. > On Sep 17, 2015, at 12:22 PM, Scott Granadoswrote: > > They announced this on the business news yesterday. Re: No Apple Watch update.
Well at least they are not like Code Factory, what was it, come what may, even though i found bugs they released the software didn't they. If you remember those who were on the Mobile Speak list I made a song and dance and they didn't like it so in my opinion, Apple are doing well to fix whatever it is. Very commendable but it depends on how you look at it. One day when I have time I'll invest in becoming an IOS tester. May be when I retire because just at the present time I can't fit enough stuff I want to do in a 24 7 day. I asked the representative what about the newer models of watches as they had the new software update but I couldn't follow what was said.
