Re: mac app store

2024-01-18 Thread 'E.T.' via MacVisionaries
Don't wait. There will always be bugs. That is a given. Instead,
take the time to learn the changes as they come. Sonoma is not much
different from Ventura. It is very different from Monterey and previous.

Yes, I've been experiencing this a lot in El Capitan. The way I fix it is to
shut down VO and start it again.

Re: mac app store

2015-12-09 Thread Andrew Lamanche
Yes, this behaviour has been present since El Capitan first release. The way I
fix this is by command+tabbing from the app and back into it, sometimes more
than once. This seems to be happening while the content is loading. I get the
same behaviour in itunes too when it's loading content for instance if I choose
itunes store or simply change my choice although it doesn't happen every time.

Re: mac app store

2015-12-09 Thread Shawn Krasniuk
Same here, although I don't shut down Voiceover. What I do is command+tab out
of the app store and then press that same command again to go back in and
usually Voiceover behaves properly. Actually, this has gone on in the early
stages of El Capitan. I've sent them feedback about this issue several times
and yet they still haven't fixed it. Here's hoping they will in 10.11.3.

Re: Mac app store help

2012-02-06 Thread Chris Blouch
So far I haven't had any updates to apps I purchased through the
AppStore. If there are updates will they just show up in the regular
Software Update process or do I have to go into the Mac App Store and
get updates there? Would be nice if they would integrate it into the
regular software update process so it would just pick those up along
with system patches.

I really like Lyrica, which displays lyrics for songs playing in ITunes. My

the Pages app is a slightly older version, it's a bargain at $20. It's part
word processor, part publisher.
