Re: Siri weirdness on HomePod

2019-11-25 Thread 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries
It is weird, and I've never encountered it either. I've seen Apple music
replace individual tracks in my library with alternative versions, but only
when I tell it to just shuffle and play my music. I don't mind that so much,
and some times it's even kind of fun. But if I tell Siri to play an album that
is in my library, she ought to play that album, and not presume to decide that
I really wanted something else.
Cheers,
Donna

Wow! I’ve never seen that. I know that when a song is playing, you can tell
Siri you don’t like it. And she says “got it“. But then I don’t know what would
happen if you requested that very same song, even though it’s a different
version. Really strange.

Siri weirdness on HomePod

2019-11-25 Thread 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries
Hi all,

Since about last Friday, I am finding that when I ask Siri to play a certain
album from my library, she instead plays a live version of the album from Apple
Music. So, I specify, "Play album X from my library." She does that, but every
track is repeated twice. I have checked in my library, and the tracks are not
duplicated there. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this? First, is
there any way to stop the duplicate track playing, and second, is there any way
to tell Siri "Don't ever play this album--the one on Apple Music-- again?"
This is so annoying that I'm about to chuck Apple music!
Cheers,
Donna
