AOL's AIM can also send text messages and is fairly accessible on iOS. CB On 6/16/14, 9:45 AM, Christopher Hallsworth wrote: Try Textme. I've used Google voice connect, but really didn't like it because it didn't use apples notification center due to privacy. But text now doesn't announce when a thread has unrest messages. Also, even though the current Fleksy I don't really like, I do wish it was in an app besides Google voice connect, using the slowly dying Google voice. -- ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group. Yup. AIM is free and all that goes with it. You'll have to create a free account to use it of course. I think you start a new chat but for the account name of the other user you put in the US phone number. CB On 6/18/14, 10:16 AM, Devin Prater wrote: Is aols texting feature free? I see. I have linked it with my Facebook account, and my Google account, so hopefully I can make use of it. Does it send the text with my email address, or a real number?
