Re: Zip Archives

2024-03-16 Thread Ian Robinson
Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for the suggestions.

Unarchiver does work with VoiceOver, but it doesn’t allow the user to view the
contents of the archive. Instead it just automatically extracts to a folder
like MacOS, though it works with a wider range of archive types.

I found ZipMounterLite which is more like what I’m looking for. An archive can
be opened from the context menu and is mounted like a drive. Once mounted, one
or more files can be copied elsewhere without having to extract the entire
archive first.

Thanks again for your suggestions.

Ian

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don’t want to create a folder containing all

Creating Multi Part Zip Archives with Winzip for Mac

Hi,
Has anyone managed to do this successfully? I’ve looked at the documentation on
the web which talks about a tools tab and a multi part tab, both of which I
can’t seem to locate in the Interface.
