Re: blocking phone numbers in ios

2017-10-24 Thread Caitlyn Furness
Hi Jean,

I just checked this out to double check..

Tap on recents in the phone app and pick the number you are interested in. tap
on the more info button after the name of the number, or the number itself,
depending on how it shows up. Another screen will open. the first button you
see is edit. Swipe through this entire screen and the block caller option is
way at the bottom of the screen. Tap it and you’re good to go.

Caution: if you select the edit button, this will let you edit the contact info
for the number, but *not* block-the block option is on the screen that opens
after you tap on the more info button..

HTH,
Cait

Re: blocking phone numbers in ios

2017-10-24 Thread E.T.

Jean,
The Block this Caller option is still present in iOS 10. Do this.
After you open the More option, tap the Favorites tab at the bottom then
swipe left once.

Re: blocking phone numbers in ios

2017-10-23 Thread Caitlyn Furness
Hey Jean,

Navigate to the phone number you want to block and tap on the more info button.
Swipe through this screen and I think the block this caller is in there..

HTH,
Caitlyn
ps-this feature only works if the person calling hasn’t masked their
number-g!

blocking phone numbers in ios

2017-10-23 Thread jean parker
Hello All:

A simple question I hope. I am still using IOS 10 point whatever and would like
to block a couple of phone numbers that have recently come from robo callers.
There used to be something in the edit fields for phone numbers to do this but
it has disappeared. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Jean
