garage band help

2018-05-26 Thread The wolf
Hello I am wanting to remix some songs adding samples and loops on top
of them.

how do I find out the tempo of the song that I want to remix and how do
I then have the rest of the project match the tempo of the song that I
am wanting to remix?

I am hoping I am explaining this correctly.

thanks

Hank

garage band help

2018-01-22 Thread The wolf
Hello is there a way to have garage auto beat map a file and then adjust
the intire project to the tempo?
I have a couple of songs that  I want to remix and I need it auto beat
mapped and set up so the rest of the project eg loops samples match the
tempo of the song
not sure what this type of thing is called in garage band but can some
one tell me if this is possible?

thanks
Hank

Hi Katie,
make sure you are not interacted with anything. Then you'll find the loop
browser to the right of your Arrangement Area. If not make sure it is activated
by pressing CMD + l.
All the best

Voiceover isn't speaking everything listed like for the arrange layout area.
It is just showing me the multiple time indicator ruler, time grid, the
 instrument
tracks with the scroll area and the lock time to play heads check box. I'm
not seeing anything else for the media or loop browser and Voiceover isn't

which area I'm currently in like for the arrange layout. How do I fix this
problem? Also can you navigate the loop browser and select what you're looking
 for with Voiceover?
 Thanks for your help.
