So you’d have to pair your phone with the camera if you want to use the 
software but just to use the camera you don’t need to.  You’ll need sited help 
to pair the camera I believe but you can use the camera just by stuffing a card 
in it and pressing the record button.  Once the data is on a card you can use 
any number of other software to work with the files.
