HI,

What I do is highlight a tweet from the contact I want to message, then hit 
Command-D. That will put you in the message window where you can start typing 
your message. You won't see the @ sign with the contact's name, but when you 
send it, the message will be sent to your contact.

Just remember you have to be following each other for the direct message to go 
through.

how do you send direct messages in nambu?

hey all how do you send a direct message to some one nambu? i select
send direct message from the context menu but nothing happens!

your help with this question would be most welcom!
