Re: junk folder disappeared

The  JUNK folder in Macintosh Mail is something that there should always be one 
associated with each mail account that you subscribe to. Is the Junk folder 
missing, or does it not contain what you expect?

In Gmail there is a "Spam" label that is essentially equivalent to the Junk 
folder that Apple provides. Usually Apple Mail will link these two folders. You 
can find out what Apple Mail is associating with JUNK in the Accounts 
preferences area under: Mailbox Behaviors tab.

junk folder disappeared

Helo All:

Yesterday I had to delete my gmail account from mail and reconnect it again. 
This was due to some gmail misbehavior. Everything was corrected when I 
reconnected the account except that my junk folder has disappeared. I wouldn’t 
care about this only I do often find valid messages that have landed in there.

How can I get this folder restored?
