RE: windows 10 home license on consecutive macbook airs/bootcamp

2016-08-30 Thread Simon Fogarty
Wer to this is yes going by todays ruling,

I have done this a number of times where I either changed harddrives or
machines

Unless the licencing rules have changed I had to ring ms and input my
activation code for windows in to the phone keypad and the phone system then
gives you a number back which you input into the computer and things should
start working.

Unless ms have in the passed 6 months changed this, it is still working.

Subject: windows 10 home license on consecutive macbook airs/bootcamp

Hi everyone,
I have a somewhat tricky question for you guys and I hope someone knows the
answer or can point me on hwere to find more info.
I have a 3 year old macbook air. In 2 years time I want to buy a new one.
I want to use windows 10 home with a legal license on it with bootcamp for work.
I am wondering though if I will be able to use that license on the NEW macbook
air in 2 years time if I delete windows from the old machine?
Thanks in advance for any info,
Greetings, Anouk,
