It works on my iPad Air, which I keep up to date with the latest iOS release.

Re: MacBook pro with touch bar.

2017-06-18 Thread Alex Hall
Hello,
I wrote this last year after getting my Touch Bar Pro. I still feel it's
accurate, having used this computer ever since then. In summary, it's fine if
you want the power and are willing to adapt to new, sometimes less efficient
ways of doing things. Those ways can sometimes be better, and sometimes neither
worse nor better. If you use Bootcamp, stay away from this machine, as the
Touch Bar doesn't work under Windows from what I hear. If you want the Touch
Bar to be more efficient on macOS, I don't think you will be.

Sendspace, Dropbox, and Open-drive

2017-06-18 Thread Terri Stimmel
Hello everyone,

Around Christmas time I received an older Mac laptop. It runs Yosemite. I am
still learning how to use it and have a ways to go.

But I was wondering, can I use Dropbox, Sendspace, as well as Open-drive on my
Mac?
If so, will I need to install certain versions?

Thank you,

Terri

RE: Sendspace, Dropbox, and Open-drive

2017-06-18 Thread David Griffith
The Sendspace wizard is accessible but a little clunkier to use than the
windows version in terms of navigating around the remote browser. It is all
possible but learn the short cut keys and you will often have to use virtual
mouse clicks – shift VO space I find to execute stuff.

Hmm, maybe it is subscription now. $36 annually for single user is
good. I would not be surprised if more developers move in this direction
to keep the cash cow alive.

Hello, so long as there are Mac versions of these apps you should be good to
go. I know Dropbox and Sendspace do as I used to use them personally, but
OpenDrive I have heard of but not used. Sendspace on the Mac does leave a lot
to be desired as far as accessibility is concerned, particularly the log in
screen. Just something to keep in mind.

Thoughts appreciated

Hi,

Does anyone know how much this new keyboard cost. This would be great if it
has a number key pad.

Matthew
