Problem with Maemo Development VMware appliance
All, I am pleased to report that the Maemo Development VMware appliance installed very easily on my Windows XP SP2 system running VMware Player. Thanks to all who worked to make that resource available. I installed/enabled SAMBA to make it easier to share files with the XP host and the Ubuntu guest OS. Following the instructions in the readme.text I went to update both the X86 and the ARMEL target environments but the updates did not seem to take. Below is the text from the terminal window indicating what did and did not happen. As you can see it indicates that 8 not upgraded. Does this mean that I already have the latest versions of these packages already installed, or is there some other explanation? Any help on this will be much appreciated: Shell restarting...
