 Hi,

Has anyone successfully gotten NFS to work on the Nokia 770 using
IT2006? I've been trying to get scratchbox working with the 770 via
sbrsh for awhile now without much success mainly because of the 770's
 lack of NFS support.

I just re-compiled the kernel with NFS support enabled.

[maemo-users] Bootup Image

2006-11-09 Thread Amichai Rotman
Hi All,

I installed the LCARS theme from the 2006 AppCatalog

It's great!

Only thing - is it possible to change the background color while the progress bar is running to black?

 /# dpkg --configure -a

Hmm, how did you get into this state? I.e., what repositories did you
use and how did you get the Application Manager to upgrade the
maemo-launcher package?

In any case, you should do what dpkg tells you, reinstall
maemo-launcher. apt-get should be able to do it for you:

  # apt-get install maemo-launcher

or maybe

  # apt-get --reinstall install maemo-launcher

Good evening,
is there anyone using rdeskop with the 770 virtual keyboard? How does zoom and so on works? I would like to use this without a BT- Keyboard and without the Windows screen keyboard.

Greetings from Berlin

Christian,
Know where I can find the original config file for the 770's kernel (2006
ver2)? thanks

I find it actually crashes out while reading Google Reader via the
mobile UI which is a simple web page...

I'm seeing the same crashes and so far it seems to be pointing to
2 things.

1. Bad javascript
2. Old flash player

The first one is easy enough to detect turn off javascript, the

harder. But many of the sites using newer flash to create
animations/video/sites don't do detection and graceful fall back.
They just

crash you.
