I just checked -- the default /etc/apt/sources.list is the same in both firmware images (SU-18_2006SE_1.2006.26-8_PR_F5_MR0_ARM.bin and SU-18_2006SE_2.2006.39-14_PR_F5_MR0_ARM.bin). If you have added other repositories, you may need to change them. I think that apps compiled for mistral will install and work on scirocco, and I know that the reverse is not true. Thanks, that was very helpful. Ted ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users

I overwrote my new /etc/apt/sources.list after I flashed IT2006v2 before I realized that; is the file different from mistral? I haven't had any trouble updating so far, but I want to be sure. [maemo-users] An Easier Way to Add Repos After a Flash / Reflash
Hi all, Wouldn't it be nice to have an easy way to add the repos on the MaemoRepos list in an automatic fashion - i.e. import some file from the xterm (after adding the one repo that containes the osso-xterm package. Better yet: It would be nice to have a PostFlash HOWTO N770 friendly - an HOWTO I'll surf to from my device and perform the steps for all those thing we all do anyway after flashing (Didn't we all enable the becomeroot, added the repos and installes apps like osso-xterm and FBReader?)
