Bug 1875267 'Login' button not visible in 'Default' theme when only a
link

Raw was using the wrong variables, changed to the header toggle colour and
background variables. Also made it bold to stand out and changed the order
so login is far right.

Title:
'Login' button not visible in 'Default' theme when only a link

Status in Mahara:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
When you have set the following in your config.php file:

  $cfg->showloginsideblock = false;

the 'Login' link at the top right is not visible in the header in the
'Default' theme. All other themes show 'Login'.

The display can be improved though. For example, in the primary,
modern, and ocean themes, the button that comes up during hover is not
  standing out much.

In the past, the language selector was placed to the left of the
'Login' link. Now it is to the right of it. It would be better to have
it to the left again so that the 'Login' link as the most important
element is in the easier accessible location.

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1875149] Re: Outdated packages during PDF export install

2020-04-27 Thread Robert Lyon
For point 1: Package container-interop/container-interop is abandoned

https://github.com/zendframework/zend-
eventmanager/issues/79#issuecomment-562228837

It is a known issue and won't go away until a major version of PSR comes
out

For point 2: This is an issue with using an older version of phpunit so
will make a patch for that

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1875118] Re: When clicking a group label on 'All groups' screen, switch to 'All my groups' screen

Title:
When clicking a group label on 'All groups' screen, switch to 'All my
  groups' screen

Status in Mahara:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When you are on 'Groups' and the search context is 'All groups', then
you can still click the labels that you had assigned to a group, but
you don't see a difference on the screen. That's because the filtering
only happens when the search context is 'All my groups', 'Groups I'm
  in', 'Groups I own'.

When a label is clicked on the 'All groups' context, then the search
context should change to 'All my groups' and display the filtered
  result list.

  To replicate:

  1. PersonA sets up 3 groups (2 of which are controlled groups, one is open)
and adds PersonB to the 2 controlled groups.
  3. PersonB creates a group.
  4. Person B labels 1 group in which they are a member and their own group
with 'testing'.
  5. On Main menu -> Engage -> Groups, PersonB selects the search context 'All
groups' and verifies that they can see all groups.
  6. PersonB clicks on the label 'testing' in one of the two groups.
Expected result: The result list is filtered by the label and the search
context is changed to 'All my groups' as 'All groups' doesn't display the
filter.
  Actual result: Nothing happens.

Previous fix corrected some variables, which in turn Default theme's
old styles overrode. 'Publish' button in peer assessment block now

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1874540] Re: Page settings form not behaving as expected

2020-04-27 Thread Cecilia Vela Gurovic
This is happening when the image folder 'Cover Images' doesn't exist
yet.

This is also happening in the resume section of forms with a
filechooser.

Title:
Page settings form not behaving as expected

Status in Mahara:
  In Progress

Bug description:
Now that we have the cover image chooser on the form when I go to make
a new page and press enter when focus is on page title field the form
  doesn't save

Instead there is an 'quotaUpdate( undefined undefined ) called but no
id="quota_fill" on page' warning in the console log.

And if I open the Advanced section and go into the 'Add a file' I see
the error message 'The file / folder name is required.'

Also if I select a cover image and save the form with the 'save' button and
then come back to edit settings and update the page title and hit save - again
the form doesn't save but now the selected cover image is now unselected -
which will be confusing as the advanced section is still hidden.

So somehow, the 'enter' keystroke is being captured by the file
chooser even when we are not focussed on it.

If we are not focusssed on the 'add a file' button or the 'remove'
button for the selected cover image then they should not capture the
  enter keystroke

Title:
Files doubling up in an export

Status in Mahara:
  In Progress

Bug description:
When doing a full export we can get files doubled up appearing in
export_info/files/ directory and also subdirectories under this
  directory.

It looks like if the file is used in a page / block it gets put here
but at the same time the Files area of the user's Content section is
added in with the same folder structure.

So, for example if I add a coverimage, img1.jpg, to a page it gets
saved in the 'Cover images' folder in files.

When I export the user I get a copy of img1.jpg in export_info/files/
directory because of it's association to the exported page and another
copy in export_info/files/Cover images/ because of it's relation to
  the files directory.

we used to export files in their directories to avoid name clashes -
but now that we export files prefixed with their fileid we don't need
to worry about that so we should export all files into
export_info/files/ directory without bothering with the subdirectories
and have the generated files html page point to export_info/files/
  instead

Status in Mahara:

Bug description:
When there is a peer assessment block on a page and a peer assessor is
adding a peer assessment, the 'Publish' button doesn't have the
primary brand colour applied in the 'Default' theme (see screenshot).

  Steps to replicate:

  1. As PersonA add a page with a peer assessment block.
  2. Make the page available to PersonB and set PersonB as 'Peer assessor'.
  3. Log in as PersonB and navigate to the page.
  4. Click the 'Add a peer assessment' link.
Expected result: The 'Publish' button is displayed in the primary brand
colour of the theme.
Actual result: The correct colour is missing in the 'Default' theme.

This is not a problem in any of the other themes.

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1875484] Re: Create page using tag value displays error messages

2020-04-27 Thread Rangi Daymond
** Description changed:

  Environment: https://master-10711-78684.qa.mahara.org/
- Release 20.04 candidate 2, Postgres
+  Release 20.04 candidate 2, Postgres
  Browser: Chrome
  Theme used: Default

  Preconditions:
As PersonA, ensure the following are set up:
  a) Journal (tagged with target tag value) with 2 entries, one entry tagged
with target tag value, the other with other non-target tag values
  b) Plan with 2 entries, one entry tagged with target tag value, the other
with other non-target tag values
  c) PageA with a text block tagged with the target tag value and an image
block tagged with the target tag value.

  Test steps:
As logged in PersonA, create a new PageB from the target tag value used above.
Expected result: PageB is created successfully and displays the correct
content.
Actual result: PageB is created, however, error messages are displayed that
relate to the Journal/blog & tagged posts and Plan (see attached sample error
messages).
+
+ NOTE: related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/mahara/+bug/1874540
+ Some of the new cover image chooser functionality is conflicting with
existing functionality (the behat tests have indicated that 'create via tags'
is one of these areas).
