Upon reflection, I think an alphabetical listing should be implemented first and foremost. Sorting groups manually could be nice, but the sort order may not be clear to users. Thus, I think an alphabetical listing would still be better. If group categories should be close to each other, they could be named so that they appear together. I think sorting them manually could potentially require sub categories rather than just categories. Hi Son, Good idea. That gives the admin quite a bit of flexibility further down the track in case there are categories that should be listed in non- alphabetical order. I don't see it as high priority as alphabetical listing is the standard for many drop-down menus, e.g. countries, languages, unless you want to highlight a specific one. But it would be nice to be flexible in the order if you want to be. Group categories should be displayed by admin defines. Therefore, in the page /admin/groups/groupcategories.php we need to add a function to change the order.
