[Mailman-Users] Question about modifying body content

2009-10-23 Thread JT Koffenberger
I have a very specific need for a client to be able to track specific
users clicking on URLs. I'd like to be able to modify a URL that's in
the BODY of the message going through mailman to append the
recipient's email address to said URL.

I know about all of the personalization stuff... and, while we have
played with putting this stuff in the header and footer areas, it
would be much cleaner to be able to look for a string tag in the body
of the message and replace it with the recipient email.

Is this possible? or, if it needs to be developed, can someone point
me in the right direction where I can start to put some hooks in place?

Thanks!
JTK

[Mailman-Users] Multi-Part MIME Question

2008-09-26 Thread JT Koffenberger
I have two lists that, as far as I can tell from the administrator
client, are set up identically. Only one list seems to want to tag
the message as a multi-part MIME message, while the other list does not.

This happens even then the same content (HTML message) is sent to both
lists.

This is a multi-part MIME message.

--=_reb-r24346DE6-t48DBA0BC
Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

The above header is added to the message in one list, while not on the
other.

Can someone direct me to where I should look for settings? or what
might trigger such a conversion?

We'd prefer the message to go out NOT as a mutli-part MIME message.

Thanks for any help that can be provided!

[Mailman-Users] customized digest pages

2008-04-02 Thread JT Koffenberger
Has anyone out there ever developed a customized digest page? If so..
is there any place for templates or examples of such emails?

Thanks!
